Lab Open House a great success!

The EGL Open House (2/27/04) was a fantastic success thanks to the diligent preparation of lab members and director Michael Mateas. Faculty and students from different Georgia Tech departments were fittingly on-hand for the grand opening of this multi-disciplinary lab. Also present were game industry professionals and researchers from other universities who came to talk about their own interests in games. The open house felt like a real party. Tasty food was to be had, and visitors enjoyed dancing in front of the Sony Eye Toy and playing pictionary on the lab's giant white boards, or playing Mario Party and other games.

Lab members prepared posters explaining their current projects, and discussed their current research with visitors.

Thanks to our new friends for their attendance and support of the Experimental Game Lab!
